He has worked on the technical side of the house (FSR, IT, avionics, electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, etc.) with a multitude of different systems and sensors including land-based ISR systems, aerostat ISR systems, manned airborne ISR systems and unmanned airborne ISR systems. He has also worked on the operational side of the house (mission planning and briefing, sensor operating (FMV/MTI/DMTI/SAR/CCD), live mission analysis, post mission forensic analysis, creation of intelligence products, PED management and Liaison positions, etc).
He has supported multiple military task forces, SOF units and government agencies with mission sets including: Clearing Operations, Troop Infil/Exil Overwatch, High Value Individuals, High Profile Attacks, Counter-IED, Counter IDF, Vehicle Interdictions for smuggling of narcotics and lethal aid and also Force/Base protection.
Mr. Dietz has also worked in the private sector as a contractor for the State Department’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security, Office of Security Technology. He has visited eleven US Embassies, Consulates and Diplomatic locations world-wide while working on a multitude of various Technical Security Systems.
